Support for Global Academic Activities

Program Introduction
A great deal of preparation is necessary to settle into a research position after obtaining a Ph.D. degree. We help doctoral-level female professionals to gain experience giving presentations at prestigious overseas conferences, receive training on cutting-edge technologies, gain R&D capabilities, and form global networks.
Program Details

business objectives

  • Spread of R&D research results of non-regular PhD-level female scientists
  • Expanding regular jobs for non-regular PhD-level female science and technology workers

Target

  • Doctoral-level women in STEM working as non-regular employees (those with a Ph.D. in science or engineering, those who have research experience in STEM fields for at least 3 years after graduating with a master’s in science or engineering, and those who are continuing research after completing a Ph.D. degree program in science or engineering)

Application period

  • once in the first/second half of each year

Support Details

  • Overseas training : Financial assistance of up to KRW 8 million (transportation and living expenses) → (Revised) Financial assistance to pay for transportation and living expenses
  • Academic activities : Financial assistance for conference registration fees, transportation costs, and research article publication fees

Program period

  • First half : April to August
  • Second half : September to November
