Parental Leave Replacement Programs for R&D Sectors

Introduction
This is a program for utilizing and establishing a work-family balance support system in STEM. The program matches replacement personnel, interns, postdoctoral researchers, etc., with organizations that are short-staffed due to their employees taking maternity or parental leave (regardless of gender) or working part-time to take care of their children. This also provides a valuable opportunity for replacement personnel to acquire practical skills and gain actual R&D experience while working in place of those on leave.
