Active Measures
WISET operates a recruitment, tenure, and promotion target system based on Article 11 of the Act on Fostering and Supporting Women Scientists and Technicians. It sets the recruitment and tenure targets for women in STEM and the promotion target for each position (every three years) for research institutes in the field of science and technology and strongly recommends them to achieve the target ratios.
