This event is part of 'WISET Global Cross Mentoring*' and is designed to support the future career development and future design of female scientists in Korea and the United States.
* This is a mentoring program that allows female scientists in Korea and the U.S. to share their experiences and know-how in regard to studying abroad, employment, and career paths and to help female science and engineering students grow into global female talents.

□ The theme of this event is "Data Science." Data scientists who are active in the United States participate as speakers to advise on how to prepare for careers in related fields.

□ Anyone interested in applied mathematics and data science can participate in the program, and by June 16 (Wednesday), they can apply through the Women's Science Technology Life Cycle Growth Platform W Bridge (www.wbrige.or.kr). Pre-applicants can participate through individual online access links.

□ Ahn Hye-yeon, director of the company, said, "Recently, we have prepared a place to share advice and experiences from interesting scientists on the subject of Data Science, which is in high demand for human resources. We hope that many female students will participate and get the help needed to grow into data scientists, and we will provide mentoring programs in various fields of science and technology in the future."

□ With the support of the Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Lim Hye-sook), WISET has been promoting 'WISET Global Cross Mentoring' since May of this year. About 40 American female scientists working at U.S. universities, research institutes, and startups are participating, and mentoring will be conducted online for seven months until November. In the second half of the year, the company plans to hold a talk concert under the theme of bio.
